On one of the rare spring days when it wasn't raining or cold, I finally decided to take a long walk to enjoy the short-lived spring. It's not that I don't like taking long walks; it's just that I tend to procrastinate doing things even though I meant to do it. The time spent walking was a time for reflections, prayers, and thinking about the future. Just seeing the buds on the trees struggling to open, the trees growing stronger with the sunlight, the fresh smell of earth on the fields readying for planting, and birds chirping and squirrels happily speeding up the trees and into the bushes gave hope that everything is going to be alright.
