“I need a break before I continue on with my pilgrimage” (Angkor Wat, Cambodia)

It was such a hot and humid day exploring the ruins of Angkor Wat and everyone was trying to walk in the shade. As the crowds start to disappear from a spot after having had enough of the shots they wanted, a lone monk came and sat down to wipe the sweat off his brow. The bright color of his robe makes a contrasting hue to the darkness of the ruins. I was trying to capture the moment without him being aware of it. Young men in Buddhist society are normally required to fulfill their one year duty as monk, don the robe and enter the monastery at the age of 15
